SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card is a chip and PIN protected Debit Contactless MasterCard® or Visa Card® currency card.
You can use it in millions of cash machines displaying the MasterCard Acceptance Mark, to access your money quickly and safely. You can also pay for goods and services online and in store, wherever MasterCard is accepted.
Your SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card can be used at all merchants that accept MasterCard or Visa Cards. In addition, you must not use or attempt to use your Card in any of the following prohibited countries: Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and Crimea.******
You can request your SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card and SunCash Virtual Prepaid MasterCard or Visa Card from your SunCash account under the 'SunCash Cards' tab or Get (Withdrawal) Cash sections.
Your card will be delivered by post to your residential address within 10 working days from the date of the order, depending on your postal service or can be picked up if requested.*********

Getting a SunCash Virtual Prepaid MasterCard or Visa Card is free.********

Your SunCash Virtual Prepaid MasterCard or Visa Card details can be viewed anytime in your SunCash account, in the 'SunCash Cards' tab. The card information is indicated in the card image displayed on the page (16 digits card number, CVC2 and expiry date).
No, your SunCash Virtual Prepaid MasterCard or Visa Card does not need to be activated and it can be used as soon as you get access to your SunCash Virtual Prepaid MasterCard or Visa Card details. You can lock your card for security reasons whenever you need.
As a Virtual Card, it can be only used for online transactions, so a PIN is not provided.
For security reasons, your SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card cannot be used until the activation process is completed. Your SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card can be activated via the website by logging into your Account and clicking on the 'Activate Card' button.
Once your SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card has been activated, you can view your PIN in your SunCash account by clicking on the 'View PIN' button.

You can change your SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card PIN in any Fidelity ATM machine offering PIN services. Select the change PIN option and follow the instructions. In addition, you can change your SunCash Debit MasterCard PIN from the SunCash Cards section/ Change my PIN. Once your PIN has been successfully changed, in order to activate your PIN please attempt a POS transaction using the old PIN (note: you might be asked to enter the old PIN up to 3 times depending on the POS device), The POS device will give you an error message, use your new PIN for the second attempt and the transaction will be then processed and your new PIN activated. Alternatively, you can get your new PIN activated by using it at any online Fidelity ATM. In this case please keep in mind that your old PIN might still work for this transaction but the new PIN will become active from the next transaction processed.

Furthermore, we recommend the following if you are changing your PIN:
  • Always Memorize your existing PIN in case of facing a problem
  • Please make sure you finalize the PIN change process by using your card in a Chip & PIN supporting terminal

  • Please test your PIN before your travel.
You can retrieve your SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card PIN any time you need from the 'SunCash Cards' tab.

Your SunCash MasterCard or Visa Cards balance can be checked by logging into your account and select the 'My Account' section.
Your SunCash MasterCard or Visa Card transactions will be included in your SunCash account transaction history. To check this, please log into your account and select 'My Transactions'.
We are running automatic KYC (Know Your Customer) and Sanction/PEP (Politically Exposed Person) Checks for fighting against anti-corruption and fraud. For this reason, we might require some documents if automatic checks fail. Remember that any information you provide, including your government issued ID or proof of address, is securely stored in accordance with our privacy policy. For this reason, we have specific transaction limits (see table below) and might require some documents (i.e. ID, driving license, etc.) if automatic checks fail. If your SunCash Contactless Debit MasterCard or Visa Card has been lost or stolen or your SunCash Virtual Prepaid MasterCard or Visa Card has been compromised, it is necessary to change the status of the debit card into lost/stolen and lock the virtual card as soon as you are able to. You may do so anytime from your SunCash account, under the 'SunCash Cards' tab. You must contact our Customer Service as soon as you're able to, so you can order a new card and investigate any transactions you don't recognize.
In case you misplace your Card, you can temporarily lock it while you look for it. You can unlock you SunCash Cards anytime from you SunCash account, under 'SunCash Cards' tab. Once the card is locked, you will be able to unlock it anytime. You can even lock you Card when you're not using it, as an extra security measure.
You may wish to dispute a SunCash card transaction when you find a transaction on your card statement that you do not recognize or you do not believe is correct. Please click here to find and send the duly filled dispute form from your registered e-mail ID to [email protected] or alternatively you can contact us with your account details on the number 242 300-CASH. You must return the completed form no later than 45 days after the statement date of when the transaction was charged. However, we recommend that you notify us immediately if you suspect an unauthorized transaction has occurred.
It's always important to constantly check your transactions statement. If you do not recognize a transaction, there could be a number of explanations:
  • Some merchants may have a different trading name; an internet search can help you to find this

  • Is the amount of the receipt different from the amount on the statement? This could happen with overseas transactions as a result of fluctuation of the exchange rate.
If none of these options help, contact our Customer Service. If the unknown transaction was made using your SunCash MasterCard or Visa Cards, please lock your Card as soon as possible.

  • Transactions you believe are incorrect (amount or merchant).
  • Transactions you believe you did not authorize.

  • Transactions that you may suspect are fraudulent.
  • Duplicated transactions.
  • ATMs that dispensed and incorrect amount..
  • Goods or services that you did not receive or that were faulty (in these cases we may ask you to contact the merchant in the first instance); or.
  • Reoccurring direct debits and regular repayment authorities that you have previously cancelled or you do not recognize (for example: Health insurance).

  • Note the street name and suburb of the ATM.
  • Retain any receipts issued by the ATM.
  • Note the bank of ATM.
With details mentioned above please contact us on the number 242 300-CASH. If the transaction was done using your SunCash card at any bank's ATM. In order for us to start an investigation, customer must fill the dispute form out and send it to our Customer Service in these cases, we need to wait for the other bank to confirm the results of the investigation before we are able to advise you of the result. We will communicate this to you.
We aim to complete any investigation and provide you with a response within 60 days from the date we receive your transaction dispute request. The timeframe can exceed 60 days if there are delays in receiving the necessary information to process the dispute from you or the merchant. We will inform you in writing if this is the case.
It is more than likely that your SunCash account has insufficient funds to settle the transaction (and associated fees if applicable). Please check your account and ensure you have loaded sufficient funds. The other main reason for declined transactions, is that you may have reached your account limits. Check our Terms & Conditions for the limits which apply to your Account and SunCash MasterCard or Visa Cards. If you still have doubts, do not hesitate to contact Customer Service
A pending transaction is a transaction authorized by your SunCash MasterCard or Visa Cards but not yet settled with the Merchant. It is possible that when the merchant confirms the transaction has been completed, the FX conversion rate applied by MasterCard may change. If that's the case, the value of the transaction may be a little lower (or higher) than the value which was authorized. So the account balance may be altered to reflect this.

If your SunCash MasterCard or Visa Cards are used in a different currency than (GBP, EUR, USD, AUD, PLN, ZAR, TRY, CAD, JPY, NZD), the MasterCard or VisaCard exchange rate will be applied along with a 3% transaction fee and FX buffer of 1%. This buffer is only applied to the authorization value and helps to ensure that if the MasterCard or VisaCard conversion rate changes between authorization and settlement, your account balance does not go below zero.
